Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The manuscripts prepared according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association 7th ed. (American Psychological Association [APA], 2019)
  • Previously published Tables or Figures that are used in their entirety, in part, or adapted permission from the Copyright holder for reproduction.
  • The full length of submission manuscript (Research Article) no less than 6000 words; including references, table and figure (Appendix--Exclude).
  • All authors in the article have an ORCID ID

Author Guidelines

What authors should know before submitting their manuscripts here

Eligible: Journal of Social Sciences only Published a Research Article as primary publication. We encourage the authors to pay more attention to the preparation of the manuscript by following APA Style Journal Article Reporting Standards (APA Style JARS).

Before you submit the manuscript, please read carefully and following the information: (1) The manuscript was the result of your own works (original – not plagiarism) and never been published in another journal; (2) The full article written in English or Bahasa Indonesia, and; (3) Manuscript files must be digital format. We suggest for use software Microsoft Office (2010 or above) with extension document (.rtf, .doc, or .docx).

All new manuscripts are to be submitted online to https://eligible-lldikti3.kemdikbud.go.id/. Authors are required to register their account with the journal via the OJS manuscript submission system prior to submitting or if previously registered, can simply log in and begin the process.

Upon successful registration, you will be sent an e-mail indicating your user name and password. Print a copy of this information for future reference. NOTE: If you have received an e-mail from us with an assigned user ID and password, or if you are a repeat user, do not register again. Just log in. Once you have an assigned ID and password, you do not need to re-register.

 

Manuscript Parts

Authors need to understand that there are three important parts of the manuscript that need to be included when submitting to ELIGIBLE: Journal of Social Sciences. The authors need to be aware of this carefully because the incompleteness of these three components cannot be tolerated. This is also part of the main evaluation of the manuscripts that will be considered for publication in this journal.

1. Cover Letter

The cover letter must be addressed to the Editor in Chiefs with address, phone number, and/or e-mail address of the corresponding authors. The cover letter file must be presented in a .pdf format. Send all the correspondences to: Prof. Dr. Agus Setyo Budi, M.Sc., Editor-in-Chief of ELIGIBLE: Journal of Social Sciences. Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDIKTI) Wilayah III DKI Jakarta.

2. Title Page

Title pages should be uploaded separately to the Article Manuscript file to ensure anonymity during the peer-review process. Manuscript titles should be concise, relevant and accurate. Avoid the use of abbreviations. For greater search engine optimization, place keywords toward the beginning of the title. The cover letter file must be presented in a .pdf format.

3. Main Manuscript

Article on Eligible: Journal of Social Sciences are subdivided into the following general sections: (1) Introduction, (2) Method, (3) Results, (4) Discussion, (5) Conclusion, (6) Acknowledgements, and (7) References.

Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions of their the published works on ELIGIBLE : Journal of Social Sciences under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

In case, the article was jointly prepared by more than single author, any authors submitting the manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to be agreed on this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy.

The author(s) whose names are listed in their PDF manuscript also declared that they have no conflict of interest and indicate agreement that the all information in their article is true and correct.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
